The length of warranty depends on the service you have had completed. We recommend you discuss this with your technician upon booking. Our warranty works as a ‘free service period’. This means if you are still seeing live activity after your treatment during the warranty period, your technician will come out and re-treat the areas of concern until you are satisfied.

When you book a pest control service with The Local Guys – Pest Control, you can expect:

• Inspection: Your technician will discuss your pest concerns with you and complete an inspection of the areas of concern before determining the best treatment plan.
• Treatment: Once the inspection has been completed, the technician will discuss with you their recommendations, tailored to your individual needs, including the best course of action, your preferences, budget and any other concerns. Once your treatment plan has been agreed upon, the technician will walk you through each of the steps, so you are fully informed of the process and your preparation and safety requirements before they conduct the treatment. Pest control is essential for compliance in many commercial industries (particularly food and hospitality) for health regulations. However, we believe pest control is equally important at both site types. We have a treatment plan available for every situation. No job is too big or too small for us!

Yes! As we have created a team of the best in the industry, all of our technicians are required to be fully licenced and insured. In addition to a current police check, you can rest assured knowing all of our technicians also have:

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• First Aid and CPR
• Public Liability Insurance of $20,000,000
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Gun licence (where required)
• Working Safely at Heights licence (where required)

At The Local Guys – Pest Control, although we believe we are competitively priced in comparison to our competitors, we offer a range of payment options to our clients as we understand pest control can come at an unexpected time. However, if you find a cheaper written quote elsewhere, we recommend you discuss price matching with your technician (at the discretion of the technician).

Payment options we have available include:

• EFTPOS payments on the day
• Commercial businesses may pay on the day or receive an invoice to be paid at a later date (dependant on your technician’s terms).

Yes, we do! At The Local Guys – Pest Control, each of our technicians are trained to perform a complete termite management process from inspection to treatment and protection options.

A termite inspection process includes a comprehensive inspection of the property and the surroundings for termite activity and conditions conducive with termite activity. You will be provided a full written report with findings and recommendations at the end of your inspection.

We also provide a range of treatment and protection options. These range from remedial treatments to preventative treatments. Your termite treatment and protection plans will be tailored to your specific requirements as each of our technicians have been trained to specialise in identifying the best course of action for you.

Pest control is important for both commercial and residential sites for many reasons, including:

• Legal ramifications: Some pests, such as possums, are a protected species that require a licence and understanding of the government regulations to trap them. Failure to abide by these laws (including mis-baiting or illegal trapping) can lead to serious fines.
