- Graded stone: small, hard granite particles packed under the slab or around penetrations. They’re too hard to eat and too tightly packed for termites to get through
- Stainless steel mesh: finely woven mesh laid under the slab, around the perimeter or around penetrations. It’s too fine to pass through and too strong to chew
- Ant capping: metal caps on stumps and piers. They don’t stop termites entering, but they force them into the open where your annual inspection can spot them
